My goal is the remind my generation of and begin enacting the pledges we made back in college to make the world and better place by ending and staying out of Viet Nam type wars, by ending discrimination based on race, religion, sex or social beliefs and by ending governmental prohibition on behavior between consenting adults. I believe my experience in dealing with varied commercial and business problems and experience in dealing with people qualifies me to be your candidate in 2007 and Governor of Louisiana in 2008.

Brent Sanders for Louisiana’s 5th District US Congress
Mr. Brent Sanders of Alexandria has formally announced his candidacy for 5th District Congressional Representative. Sanders graduated high school from Holy Savior Menard High School and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Louisiana College. Mr. Sanders is very concerned by the direction of many of the policies being followed by our government in Washington, D.C and by those who claim to represent the citizens of Louisiana. After much deliberation, he has resolved that the best remedy for this problem is to ask the constituents of Louisiana’s 5th Congressional District to support him in working for better, more intelligent government.
